Welcome to Forks, Washington, where it is rainy basically all of the time! It's a small little town stuck in Washington. The population is a good, small size so the crime rate isn't really high. When you come here, don't plan on causing any trouble and then try to be sneaky enough to get away with it. There is no doubt that the whole town will know about it, that is just how things work around here. The sun is normally a rare thing here but when it does come, it's beautiful. If you love to live somewhere relatively quiet then this is the place for you.

Where the sun hardly shines...

That's what Bella Swan thought when she decided to move from Phoenix, Arizona to Forks, Washington. The only reason she did this was for her Mother, so she could be with her new husband while he traveled. It is her junior year in high school. Bella is seventeen living with her Dad, Charlie Swan. She doesn't mind it all that much, except for the rain and of course the snow that comes around the winter time. She is prepared to be completely miserable in this little, wet, gloomy town but she doesn't want to keep her Mom away from Phil any longer, because she knows that she is lonely while he is all over the country and back again.

What Bella didn't count on was the Cullens. One Cullen in particular. She sees the "family" one day at lunch and naturally she is interested. But she isn't just curious about all of the siblings, all of whom hardly have any resemblances. Edward Cullen, the one she has biology with, catches her eye. Things start to spin out of control for both of them. The question is, can they hold on long enough to realize and admit their true feelings for each other?
